Synopsis
Leylin is transported from an advanced technological era into a medieval world— except there’s magic. Equipped with only his quick wits and an A.I. chip fused to his soul, he sets out to become the most powerful magus the world has ever known. In a land divided into the Light and Dark Magi, the weak can either be cattle or disposable slaves. Only the strong can determine their lives, and only they have the luxury for virtue. Thank god ISSTH completed before this sh***y war between QI and ww , still i am reading novels from both sites, chinese authors are great creators of imaginative world. If QI going to monopolise all the chinese novels and then putting paypal for reading novels, then i have to stop this amazing journey in chinese novels because i cant afford it. But i hope this doesn't happen.....
I came here after reading from WW but guess what there isn't a single dialog of the AI Chip here written. Wth the whole taste of this amazing novel has been removed.

Very poor translation. Most of chapter missing parts of story especially AI dialogue .first I thought it was writing style of auther when I reached 36 th chapter I checked ********** translation and compared them .qi translation quality very poor in this novel

Just so you know, I'm giving my opinion. It's what a review is after all. You should really read this on another sites, here they took the entire novel already translated ( that's why the release is so fast), removed some stuff (the AI dialogue) and posted it here (for money obviously, and monopole). But the thing is, the stuff they removed was essential to the understanding and spirit of this story! I'm really appalled! I don't know why they did it but they ruined the story. That's all I wanted to say really, so disappointed. When you realize your favorite app is reaping off others. And doing a poor job of it too.

No need to wait for the chapters.
Absolutely love this novel. I refuse to read it on Qidian but to those that don't care about the wuxia vs qidian war (I don't) or the translators work being stolen(I do) then I recommend reading it. My absolute favourite novel and in my eyes it surpasses even ISSTH. If you're going to read it then I would personally read the original translation but it honestly doesn't change the pure greatness that is Warlock Of The Magus World.

Novel is great. Translation is great. Releases rate has always been great with this novel. What website this novel is published does not matter to me. This a great novel (my favorite novel) and is being translated by an amazing translator. 5 stars.
I have read this until like 50 chapter, because it became so boring. I also hate this author as he stole this whole novel idea and layout, this ***** plagiarist author makes me so annoyed.
Inner thoughts are met with quotations, every single quotation is ended with an exclamation. Imagine if you were yelling non-stop. That would be an accurate imitation of what this main character is doing whenever he speaks.
First chinese novel i've read. I dropped and picked this up several times before I fell in love with this wonderful story. WMW is what made me love chinese novels. Only the ending was kinda weak... Btw, I think the Twilight Zone arc was a f*****g masterpiece! 9.2/10
Stay away from this novel on qidian, they skipped all if not most of the AI dialogues, I read first 100 chaps may be more or all chaps don't have AI dialogues. Better read on another site.
This is one of my favorite novels, mainly for the fact that the MC doesn't attempt to be self righteous like most other Xianxia/xuanhuan protagonists. Also, the translation quality is top notch. P-S: I'm not really against Qidian (although I prefer W-W by a fair bit), but I just find ridiculous that Qidian just deleted almost every negative comments despite the fact that they apparently copy/pasted most novels from W-W without their permission at all, and not telling anything at all about the situation apart that "It's done." Because of that, they're basically portraying themselves as villains and W-W as victims, for reasons I don't understand at all. W-W being currently DDOS'ed doesn't really help that image...

Garbage Author Plagiarized this LN/content from "The Wizard World". The Wizard World is better than this book. I know you guys don't agree, but none of those who disagree have more than likely not read past chapter 250 in "The Wizard World". "The Wizard World" just gets better and better after the first few Arc's that were plagiarized by this LN.
This story would recieve a 5* on all account for me. But the first few chapters have the AI chip's dialogue missing, and its been 3 yrs that they havent bothered to fix this. 3 FREAKING YEARS.
Qidian has the rights of the original novel, but it still hurts a little bit that so many novels are here, i know its convenient but it hurts as hell
